Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Controller for one of our clients based in Glasgow (Kinning Park) area. This is a permanent position with immediate start available after successful interview. Working days/Hours:<ul><li>Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm. Friday 8am to 3.30pm (35h a week)</li></ul>Salary:<ul><li>£25000 - £30000pa DOE</li></ul>Duties:<ul><li>Control goods inward and perform physical quality and quantity checks</li><li>Update inventory records</li><li>Picking/packing/scanning of products</li><li>Operating Counterbalance Forklift</li><li>Record any damages or discrepancies of deliveries received and report these to the Supply Chain Team</li><li>Ensure accurate document control by scanning the necessary documents</li><li>Assist Line Manager in developing warehouse operations through ongoing review</li><li>Operate the tag making machine as and when it is necessary</li><li>Review &amp; report of the stock holding for clients</li><li>Build relationships with key supplier and courier contacts</li><li>Manage the upkeep of company infrastructure and facilities</li><li>Carry out health and safety checks, including fire alarm tests</li><li>Comply with health and safety regulations</li><li>Contribute to a positive health and safety culture, good environmental management, and quality standards</li><li>Maintain the warehouse in a clean and organised condition</li></ul>Experience / Qualifications:<ul><li>Warehousing/stock control background</li><li>Experience in an engineering warehouse environment is preferred</li><li>Knowledge of supply chain, logistics and procurement operations is beneficial</li></ul><ul><li>Health and safety awareness within a warehouse environment</li></ul>Skills and Attributes<ul><li>In date Counterbalance Forklift Licence</li><li>Excellent organisational abilities</li><li>Developed problem identification and resolution skills</li><li>Basic IT literacy required</li><li>Being able to read technical drawings</li><li>Safe use of free-standing steps, ladders and mobile platforms</li></ul> Please send your CV to apply and contact .
