Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4pm Friday 7:30am - 2:30pm With occasional early finishes during the week. As an incentive for the team delivering excellent service for the week. Salary: Up to £28,000 DOE What will you be doing in the Sales and Operations Assistant role: * Ability to follow a process. * Delivering a satisfactory service too clients and customers, ensuring their requirements are met and handled in a polite manor. * Accurately input and schedule all jobs into Waste Logics on the designated planning day to ensure smooth operational flow. * Manage and process tickets efficiently, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance. * Collaborate with the transport team to ensure all loads are signed off and documented correctly. * Maintain proactive and consistent communication with hauliers to coordinate new bookings and manage cancellations effectively. * Understand customer/supplier specific requirements eg. POD's, copy original tickets required, agreed ticket allocation for billing &amp; internally communicate terms of trade. * Adhere to internal procedures regarding on stop accounts and accounts exceeding credit limits. * Audit of Actual versus planned profitability. Highlight any loss-making loads &amp; low tonnages. * Query Resolution - escalation of any jobs in query Previous experience and preferability: - Experience using Sage - Experience using excel. - Experience with data entry.
