Role Overview
The Deputy Area Supervisor will support the Area Manager in delivering high operational standards across multiple sites. You will help improve customer service, ensure store audits are completed, and maintain standards across each location. This is a hands-on role offering excellent development opportunities within a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

● Assist Supervisors and staff in reaching sales targets, monitoring KPIs, and implementing improvements as directed by the Area Manager.
● Cover for Area Managers during leave or as required, following handover instructions.
● Support new site openings as needed.
● Work as a Supervisor when cover is required due to staff absence

● Provide guidance to Supervisors and Line Managers to coach, develop, and build strong teams.

● Support planning of staff rotas and holidays when necessary.

Customer Service & Problem Solving
● Troubleshoot incidents or problems across locations to maintain excellent customer service.
● Assist with production unit orders, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.

Health, Safety & Compliance
● Ensure adherence to Health & Safety regulations at all times.
● Conduct spot checks on COSHH and prepare locations for audits.
● Deliver training as required, including Health & Safety and Barista training.

Stock & Merchandising
● Check and manage stock levels across locations, flagging issues and training staff where needed.
● Place change orders with the bank and distribute to locations as required.
● Maintain visual merchandising, seasonal menu promotions, and overall store standards.

Communication
● Ensure all relevant information is conveyed to Coffee Shop Supervisors via meetings, emails, and Slack.

Essential Skills & Experience
● Experience in a branded coffee or food pub environment.
● Strong integrity, honesty, and the ability to promote company values.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
● Ability to prioritise, plan, and organise effectively.


● Proactive, with a desire to develop your career and contribute ideas to improve service and drive sales.
