This role involves transporting specialist equipment ensuring timely and secure delivery Shifts: from 5.30 to 13.00 on a rota basis Salary £12.54 per hour. This is a temporary role with ongoing opportunities for the right candidates. Key Responsibilities: Plan delivery routes and conduct safety checks on your vehicle. Lift and carry items up to 30kg. Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for Multi-Drop Van Drivers based out based out Aldershot. Driving licence essential for this position. Location: Aldershot Start Date: Immediately Hourly Rate: £14.04 per hour (enhanced rate for Bank Holidays About the role The role will require the drivers to perform deliveries and collections. The expectations are for the drivers to perform from 40 drops a day (dependant on experience ). You'll start your day in the local delivery office, sorting the mail for your route, before taking out your van to complete your round. You'll be given a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries. The hand-held computer will also act as your routing system putting your round in the most economical route, telling you which house to go to next. You will be self-motivated. You'll also be as happy working alone as well as working as part of a team and getting to know the different people on your round. You'll have a strong sense of community and the idea of doing a job that involves flexible working patterns will appeal to you.
