The role As a Collection and Delivery Driver your day will typically start by planning your delivery route so local knowledge and experience of multi drop deliveries would be a huge benefit, then before you leave the depot you will carry out the relevant safety checks on your vehicle. Your responsibilities then include collecting and delivering parcels both to households and businesses. You will scan parcels on and off route to ensure tracking information is available to customers and colleagues. You must enjoy driving, even at peak hours and be able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg and be willing to work paid overtime including possible Saturday overtime. We are looking for positive team players who are willing and flexible enough to help colleagues ensure that all our customers get their parcels to their customers on time. You must enjoy customer interaction; have great communication/Interpersonal skills which will help us deliver our usual excellent customer service. You will require the following. Hours of work 12 middmiddayay to 7pm, working 5 days from 7 (includes working weekends) * A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address), with no more than 6 penalty points is essential but ideally a clean licence is preferred, please note you will be required to show this at assessment. 📦 Warehouse Operative - Temporary (Potential Temp to Perm) Start Date: Week commencing 9th September End Date: Minimum until 2nd week of January (with potential extension) Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour Overtime: Paid at time and a quarter Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30-18:00 Breaks: 30-minute unpaid lunch + 15-minute paid break 🛠️ Role Overview We're looking for friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Warehouse Operatives to join our team for a busy seasonal period. This role involves working with handheld scanning devices (Zebra guns), picking and packing items with precision, and supporting the smooth flow of goods through the warehouse. If you've worked on a production line or have experience in fast-paced environments, you'll be well suited to this position. Training will be provided, and anyone comfortable using an Android phone should find the scanners easy to operate.
