Refuse HGV Drivers - Weston-Super-Mare - New Passes Accepted

Blue Arrow are recruiting Refuse HGV Drivers to work in Weston-Super-Mare. We have both full-time and part-time roles available, please contact us to discuss your availability and preferences.

Core hours will be 06:00-14:30, however, there will be plenty of overtime available paid at excellent rates.

Basic pay rate is £15.00 per hour, overtime after 8 hours daily and Saturdays are paid at £22.50, Sundays and bank holidays - £30.00 per hour.

As a Refuse HGV Driver your main responsibilities will include:

• Driving the refuse collection vehicle to various locations around Weston-Super-Mare
• Ensuring safe and efficient waste collection in residential and commercial areas
• Loading waste onto the vehicle when required
• Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures
• Performing regular vehicle checks to ensure operational success

Please not that the client can accept drivers as young as 18 years old and they are also happy to accept newly qualified drivers as all the training will be provided.

All drivers will need to pass a paid 4 hours' driving assessment before starting work.

Candidate Requirements:

• HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid Tacho and CPC card
• No more than 6 points for minor offences
