Working in a country hotel located in the south Solihull area, your duties will include: * Plan and supervise daily activities and shifts for the housekeeping team. * Train, motivate, and develop housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques and organizational policies. * Monitor staff performance and provide feedback, resolving any issues that arise. * Thoroughly clean rooms, change bedding, replenish consumables * Room turnaround is 30 minutes per room * Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness and tidiness. * Monitor the quality of work performed by housekeeping assistants. * Manage and maintain an adequate stock of linens, towels, toiletries, and cleaning supplies. * Order and replenish cleaning products and other necessary items. * Ensure the adherence to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations and protocols. * Respond to customer complaints and special requests, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction. * Liaise with other departments, such as maintenance and the front desk, to address issues and coordinate services. Required Skills and Qualifications * Previous supervisory or managerial experience in housekeeping. * Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * A thorough understanding of cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety standards. * Familiarity with budget and inventory management. * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Blue Arrow are recruiting for an experienced Field Service Technician around the Birmingham area. Visiting multiple sites per day, your main duties and responsibilities will include: * To provide pest prevention services to a wide customer base, both commercial and domestic. * Carry out routine inspections to sites and advise on hygiene, housekeeping and proofing issues to help reduce the risk of pest activity as well as carry out control programmes. * Write reports and communicate directly with customers. * Planning your day to ensure that you can service our customers effectively and on time * Be knowledgeable about pest species the company deal with - rodents, birds and insects. Skills required: * Full clean driving licence. * Able to work under your own initiative. * Ability to manage your time and prioritise your workload. * Be flexible and able to react to unplanned situations * Be outgoing and willing to take on new challenges. * Have good communication skills. * Due to the nature of the customers services are provided to, a DBS check will be required.
