Class 1 Driver Cullompton/Willand - £18-£19 Per hour

Blue Arrow are recruiting for Class 1 Drivers for our well-established client who are opening a new base in Cullompton.

Due to continued growth, the client is opening a site that is new to the area and is seeking Class 1 Drivers to join their fleet of core drivers on an ongoing temp basis. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent work for the next 8-10 weeks

About the role:
You will be driving artic & curtain siders, delivering a range of palletised and flat packed goods. There is virtually no handballing involved as you are delivering to stores where the items will be unloaded for the most part for you.

You will be expected to deliver a high level of customer service and adhere to all driving regulations whilst ensuring you follow process for all deliveries.

Responsibilities
* Ensure the load is secure at the beginning of each shift.
* Control the load as it diminishes throughout the day.
* Achieve a 2hr delivery window and communicate any issues to the transport team.
* Offer excellent customer service to the end client.

Hours of Work:
Start time Nights: 7pm to 4/6am Shunting £19.00
Start time Days: 05:30am to 3/4pm Deliveries £18.00

Typical day shift is between 10 - 12 hours a day
Days: Monday to Friday
