Chef De Partie

With a good knowledge of basic food preparation, and experience of cooking dishes to order during service, you'll be ready for more responsibility and to take charge of your own section.

Our client is looking for a CDP to work at their family run business in a country house which offers the best quality of care available for those who don't wish to live in a conventional nursing home environment.
Hours:
Typical working days are 0800 - 1700, to include weekends, with set days off
Salary/ Benefits:
£31,000-£33,000 per annum

Location:
NE44 postcode (located in a village inbetween Prudhoe and Hexham)
Role responsibilities:
Reporting in to the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

* Preparing, cooking and serving, fresh, local produce to an extremely high standard
* Supporting fellow team members
* Contributing and adapting to day-to-day events as they unfold
* Adhering to set food safety systems
* Assisting with the management of health and safety
* Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices.

* Demonstrate a professional and corporate outlook
* Have a kind and friendly manner
* Have outstanding attention to detail
* Are a self-starter capable of working on routine tasks with minimum supervision
* Have a consistent high level of performance, even when under pressure
* Be organised and methodical with the ability to adapt and flex when required.

Requirements / Qualifications / Experience:
* 2 year's minimum experience in a similar role within a quality hotel or restaurant
* Food Hygiene certificate
* DBS (Enhanced Adult)
* NVQ Level 2 or higher
* Own Transport (preferable)
