We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Head Chef to lead the catering team at a prestigious independent boys' prep school in Winchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a beautiful and historic setting, delivering high-quality meals in a supportive and professional environment.

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for:
* Leading the kitchen team to prepare and serve fresh, seasonal, and nutritious meals.
* Planning menus that cater to a variety of dietary needs and preferences.
* Managing kitchen operations including ordering, budgeting, and compliance with food safety standards.
* Supporting school events with tailored catering solutions.
* Creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for pupils, staff, and guests.

* Schedule: Term Time Only (TTO), working alternate weekends
* Weeks Worked: 43 weeks per year (paid and worked)

What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, ideally in an educational or similar setting.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* A passion for food and commitment to high standards.
* Excellent knowledge of food safety and allergen management.
* Creativity in menu planning and presentation.
