Blue Arrow are seeking a dynamic Dispensary Operations Supervisor to take charge of day-to-day dispensary operations. This is a key leadership role focused on driving compliance, safety, and efficiency while meeting performance targets and regulatory standards.
TEMP TO PERM or PERM FOR RIGHT CANDIDATE
Pay Rate: £15.50 - £17.80 dependent
Hours: 8am-4:30pm and 9.30am-6pm (rotating shifts to ensure lead on site)
About the Role
You will rotate quarterly through key operational areas:
* Order Fulfilment and Picking
* Dispensary Operations
* Continuous Improvement
* People Management
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing work order release and prioritization in D365 Finance and Operations
- Ensuring effective stakeholder relationships to support stock allocation and order fulfilment
- Upholding WMS processes and managing non-conformance
- Reporting and investigating near misses and dispensing incidents
- Resolving RP queries and maintaining workflow continuity
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives across the operation
- Conducting documented 1-2-1s and PDRs
- Monitoring team performance using BI tools
- Reviewing and updating SOPs in line with company timelines
- Adherence to CQC, GDP, NMC, GPhC, and ICO standards
- Participation in relevant committees
- Awareness of infection prevention and safeguarding practices
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience managing teams to meet KPIs
- Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and SOPs
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Confident communicator with a proactive, positive approach
- IT proficient and highly adaptable
- Pharmacy qualification desirable but not essential
- Good understanding of the regulatory requirements for pharmacy
