Job Title: School Kitchen Assistant
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Contract Type: Part-Time / Term-Time Only
Hours: Monday to Friday, typically between 10:30am - 2:00pm (term time only)

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and friendly Kitchen Assistant to join the catering team at a local school in Corby. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive environment where you'll help provide healthy, nutritious meals to students and staff.

Key Duties:

Assist with preparing and serving meals
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
Wash up and clean kitchen equipment and utensils
Follow food safety and health & safety procedures
Support the cook and wider team with daily kitchen tasks
What We're Looking For:

A positive, can-do attitude and a team player
Good communication and time management skills
Previous kitchen or catering experience is helpful but not essential
Willingness to undertake food hygiene training (if not already certified)
A genuine interest in working in a school environment
