Blue Arrow Bristol are recruiting General Warehouse Assistants / General Labourers to work for our client based in Avonmouth, Bristol (BS11). Candidates will ideally hold a Counterbalance Forklift licence and / or CSCS card, however, please apply online even if you haven't got these qualifications as they client is happy to provide you will all the necessary training. The roles are for a period of at least three months, potentially longer than that, depending on how quickly the project will be complete. We will aim our best to find you alternative employment after this assignment is finished. Working hours and pay rates:<ul><li>Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00</li><li>Occasional overtime</li><li>Basic pay rate is £13.79 per hour, overtime is paid at £16.88 per hour</li></ul> As a General Labourer, your duties will include:<ul><li>Manual loading and unloading of products</li><li>Minor repairs or assembly / dismantling tasks</li><li>Recycling</li><li>Using a variety of tools and equipment</li><li>Tidying up</li><li>Operating counterbalance forklifts</li><li>Updating paperwork</li></ul> Candidate requirements:<ul><li>Valid Counterbalance forklift licence obtained or refreshed within the last 3 years is preferred but not essential</li><li>CSCS card is advantageous</li><li>Previous experience operating forklifts is preferred</li><li>Previous experience performing warehouse duties</li><li>Good understanding of warehousing operations and processes</li><li>Awareness of Health &amp; Safety regulations</li><li>Willingness to do manual work</li></ul> Benefits of working for Blue Arrow:<ul><li>Weekly pay</li><li>28 days of paid annual leave accrued on top of your weekly wages</li><li>Blue Arrow App where you can submit your timesheets, request holidays, track your pay, update your personal details etc.</li><li>Great customer service</li></ul> If you are interested, please apply online and upload an up-to-date CV.
