We're hiring reliable and professional Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver for ongoing work with XPO Logistics in Sherburn (YO17) and surrounding areas.

Job Overview

Position: HGV Class 1 Driver (Days)
Location: Sherburn (YO17) & surrounding areas.
Contract Type: PAYE, ongoing will lead to permanent for the right candidate
Fixed 5 week Shift Pattern:
Week 1 Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 14:00pm
Week 2 Monday to Friday - 14:00pm to 20:00pm
Week 3 Monday to Friday - 06:00am to 14:00pm
Week 4 Monday to Friday - 14:00pm to 20:00pm
Week 5 Sunday night 18:00pm to 06:00am Tuesday to Thursday 22:00pm to 06:00am

Pay Rates

Weekdays: £18.02 PH + Holiday accrual
Paid weekly 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
Shunting vehicles around the yard
Securing the loads with straps and curtains
Communicate with the transport team and FLT loaders
Focus on Health and safety around the site

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
No more than 6 penalty points
