Accounts Assistant - £25,000-£30,000 p.a. - Permanent 100% on site Peterborough

Are you an experienced accounts professional looking to join a small team? We're working with a well-established accountancy practice seeking a permanent Accountant or Accounts Assistant to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid experience in practice accounting and tax to play a key role in delivering excellent service to a varied client base.

🔎 About the Role

You'll be responsible for preparing:

• Sole trader, partnership & small limited company accounts
• Self-assessment tax returns

No auditing involved. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.

✅ What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in practice accounting (essential)
• Confident preparing accounts for small businesses and handling self-assessment tax returns
• Qualification not essential - (AAT/ACA/ACCA) are useful but not essential.
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach
