HGV Refuse Collection Driver £19.76 per hour (PAYE) Lambeth, SE24 Temporary 1 month, likely to be extended/on-going Job Role Summary: · Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job · Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal · Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed · Complete relevant paperwork in real time · Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use · Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles. · Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users Your typical working hours will be: · 6am to 2:30pm, Monday - Friday What you'll need to do the role: · Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points) · Driver CPC · Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement · Good communication and interpersonal skills · Self-motivated · Willingness to undertake tasks If you meet the above criteria then we would love to hear from you, please apply online today!Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.

HGV Refuse Collections Driver

7.5T Refuse Collections Driver /Loader £15.89 per hour (PAYE) Lambeth, SE24 Temporary, initially 1 month (could lead to on-going work) Job Role Summary: 7.5T Driver for bulk furniture collection on estates in the Brixton area This role may also require you to carry out refuse/recycling/food/garden waste collections as per the Contract requirement and specification, across any rounds required. You must be able to drive 7.5T Vehicles and lead a round for the safe and successful completion of the daily operations. Maintain all relevant licenses / qualifications for the role Your typical working hours will be: 2-10pm Monday - Friday What you'll need to do the role: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good Teamwork, and a good attitude to work Self-motivated Willingness to undertake further training. Must maintain relevant driving licence and responsible for notifying us if the licenses are revoked for any reason Must have a licence with a C1 category. Must remain up to date with your CPC training and to notify us if your CPC is to expire. Must ensure you have an in-date Tachograph card at all times for driving. Ensure compliance with fleet requirements, correctly recording working hours, defects &amp; any other compliance required.
