Chef - £15.75/hr | Contract Catering | Yeovil | Work-Life Balance
Location: Yeovil
Salary: £15.75 per hour + paid overtime
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Any 5 out of 7 days
- Shifts: 6:00am-2:00pm or 11:00am-7:00pm
- Shift Types: Mix of early, late, and occasional long days
- Weekends: 1 in 3 weekends (moving to 1 in 5 when fully staffed)

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present food to agreed standards.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and budget management.
- Maintain up-to-date product and menu knowledge.
- Ensure portion control and consistent food quality.
- Comply with all health & safety and food safety regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef in a professional kitchen.
- NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
