Deputy Nursery Manager (Assistant Manager) Hemel Hempstead

Salary: £15.25 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday

Are you passionate about early years education and ready to take the next step in your childcare career? We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to support our Nursery Manager in delivering outstanding care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the day-to-day running of the nursery ensuring high-quality childcare provision.

Support staff management, including recruitment, training, and performance monitoring.

Ensure compliance with Ofsted and Early Years Foundation Stage standards.

Maintain effective communication with parents, staff, and external agencies.

Help manage nursery finances and occupancy to meet targets.

Take responsibility in the Manager's absence and contribute to nursery development plans.

Oversee health & safety, safeguarding, and promote equality and diversity within the nursery.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a senior childcare role, ideally Deputy or Assistant Manager level.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and EYFS framework.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Ability to work flexibly within a Monday to Friday schedule.
