<h1>HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers - Seasonal Opportunities Available</h1>Location: Burton-on-Trent, StaffordshireFull-Time | Part-Time | Weekends | Regular RotaBlue Arrow is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to support our client's peak season from 4th August through to January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent work with excellent rates and a structured rota.<h2>Pay Rates (PAYE):</h2><ul><li>Day Shifts (Mon-Fri, 06:00-18:00 / Fri until 13:59): £16.90 per hour</li><li>Night Shifts (Mon-Fri, 18:00-05:59): £17.80 per hour</li><li>Weekend Shifts (Fri 14:00 - Sun 23:59): £22.20 per hour</li><li>Overtime: £25.35 (Days) / £26.70 (Nights)</li><li>Bank Holidays: £25.35 (Days) / £26.70 (Nights)</li></ul>💰 Seasonal Retention Bonus - An additional £1.00ph on all hours worked through the duration of the peak contract, paid in full in January!<h2>Shift Availability:</h2><ul><li>AM Shifts: Monday to Saturday, start times between 01:00 and 06:30</li><li>PM Shifts: Sunday to Saturday, start times between 14:30 and 22:00</li></ul>All shifts are pre-planned and confirmed at least one week in advance.<h2>Start Dates:</h2>Driver assessments and inductions will take place throughout July and August, with work commencing mid-August and running through to end of December 2025.We also have ongoing local opportunities available after the seasonal period ends.<h2>Your Role:</h2>As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be completing trunking deliveries across the East Midlands and surrounding areas. This role involves no heavy lifting-just occasional cage movements using a tail lift.
