Job title: Domestic Assistant Company name: Causeway Hospital Location: Causeway Type: Temporary - 6 months with a possible extension Rate: £12.21 per hour Accurate Sector Selection in Broadbean: Domestic Structure: You will work as part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining a high standard of service to all patient/clients/staff/customers. As a Domestic you will assist in the provision of Domestic Services within N.H.S.C.T. and assist in providing these services to the highest possible standard, within budgetary requirements with Domestic Safety procedures. Key Details Populate the key information for each point in the following list: * £12.21 per hour * Causeway * 30 hours per week Responsibilities · Working in accordance with duty rotas and work schedules laid down by the Deputy General Manager for Catering/Domestic Services. · Practising a good standard of hygiene in all aspects of the job. · Carry out, sign and date all cleaning duties in accordance with cleaning schedules. · Daily and weekly use of equipment and materials. · Ordering, receiving and receipting non-foodstuffs and cleaning materials. · Following cleaning methods as per instruction and work schedules for all equipment, surfaces and floors. · Wearing of protective clothing supplied and adherence to C.O.S.H.H., H.A.C.C.P., Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations at all times. · Reporting the need for repairs to equipment/machinery to Estates Services Department. · Reporting accidents/incidents immediately they occur. Criteria · Aged over 16 · Basic numeracy &amp; literacy skills · Ability to work shifts: Mornings, Evenings and (as applicable). All staff will be required to work in various locations and Departments within the Hospital · Carry out the duties of the post · Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and follow written instructions. · Ability to use own initiative.
