HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers - Seasonal Opportunities Available

Location: Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire

Full-Time | Part-Time | Weekends | Regular Rota

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to support our client's peak season from 4^th August through to January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent work with excellent rates and a structured rota.

Pay Rates (PAYE):

• Day Shifts (Mon-Fri, 06:00-18:00 / Fri until 13:59): £16.90 per hour
• Night Shifts (Mon-Fri, 18:00-05:59): £17.80 per hour
• Weekend Shifts (Fri 14:00 - Sun 23:59): £22.20 per hour
• Overtime: £25.35 (Days) / £26.70 (Nights)
• Bank Holidays: £25.35 (Days) / £26.70 (Nights)

💰 Seasonal Retention Bonus - An additional £1.00ph on all hours worked through the duration of the peak contract, paid in full in January!

Shift Availability:

• AM Shifts: Monday to Saturday, start times between 01:00 and 06:30
• PM Shifts: Sunday to Saturday, start times between 14:30 and 22:00

All shifts are pre-planned and confirmed at least one week in advance.

Start Dates:

Driver assessments and inductions will take place throughout July and August, with work commencing mid-August and running through to end of December 2025.

We also have ongoing local opportunities available after the seasonal period ends.

Your Role:

As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be completing trunking deliveries across the East Midlands and surrounding areas. This role involves no heavy lifting-just occasional cage movements using a tail lift. It's a clean, organised operation with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid LGV1 (C+E) licence
• Up-to-date Digi Tacho and CPC
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN codes)
