About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and organised Receptionist to join our Early Help & Early Years team. As a key member of the locality team, you will provide vital administrative and reception support across our service buildings, helping to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of services to children, young people, and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming reception service for families, visitors, and professionals.
- Support the team with a range of administrative tasks including minute-taking, meeting organisation, and document preparation.
- Maintain accurate records using IT systems such as Microsoft Office and Liquid Logic.
- Manage petty cash, order goods, and ensure timely payments.
- Assist with the organisation of sessions and events, including room setup and hospitality.
- Ensure compliance with data protection, health and safety, and equality and diversity policies.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in administration and reception duties, ideally in a public-facing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and confident using databases and spreadsheets.
- Organised with excellent time management and communication skills.
- Knowledgeable about petty cash processes, data protection, and health and safety procedures.
