Blue Arrow Derby are proud to be working in partnership with the global market leader in central heating units and they are looking to recruit a Workload Planning Controller to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Hours: Monday - Friday : 39.5hours per week

Salary: Competitive - Plus bonus up to £1,500

What will you be doing in the Workload Planning Controller role:

* Used an automated scheduling system to effectively balance workloads between field engineers and external partners, ensuring optimal use of available resources by planning, adjusting, and tracking scheduled tasks.
* Managed downtime scheduling to coordinate workloads across both field teams and the contact centre, ensuring resources were used efficiently.
* Took ownership of calendar management and upkeep, maintaining planned workloads and managing capacity releases through Salesforce and Monet.
* Leveraged data from dashboards, reports, and workflows to support effective scheduling for both field and contact centre teams.
* Followed established processes to ensure accurate alignment between data management and how different types of work were scheduled.
* Worked closely with field and contact centre managers to recommend resource allocation and ensure schedules were followed correctly.

Previous experience and requirements:
* Hands-on experience with automated scheduling tools is essential.
* Demonstrated ability to use data and reporting insights to support and improve scheduling operations.
* Strong skills in managing calendars, coordinating resources, and balancing workloads.
* Clear and confident communication skills, both written and spoken.
* A solid foundation in Maths and English (minimum grade 4 or equivalent), along with good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
