<p><strong>Linenhall Street</strong></p><p><strong>37.5 hours per week</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p><strong><br /></strong>- In collaboration with the EWTS Regional Coordinator, undertake agreed work allocation in line with the Programme plans and aims as directed.</p><p><strong><br /></strong>- Provide support to the work programmes by undertaking research and sourcing information on best practice.</p><p><strong><br /></strong>- Draft Project Presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, and other communication materials.</p><p><strong><br /></strong>- Work with the EWTS teams in HSCTs to ensure all implementation activities are carried out in accordance with the agreed Plan.</p><p><strong><br /></strong>- Assist the EWTS Regional Coordinator in the preparation and delivery of the programme deliverables ensuring all outputs are delivered within pre-defined costs and timescales.</p><p><strong><br /></strong>- Provide the EWTS Regional Coordinator with a range of standardised project management reports in a timely and consistent manner, for example, progress toward implementation milestones, state of readiness and risks/issues that need to be addressed.</p><p><strong><br />-</strong> To provide administrative support as required including administration of meetings, preparation of documents, office management duties, communication, organisation and minutes as required.</p><p><br />- Update Programme plans and participate in the implementation and coordination of plans as required, and work proactively to avoid duplication of activity and resource.</p><p><strong><br /></strong>- Provide support as required to work stream teams within the Programme and work stream managers ensuring that progress is enabled in line with the agreed programme/work stream plans.</p><p><strong><br /></strong>- Maintain up to date distribution lists, files and communication directories.</p><p><strong>General Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br />The post holder will be required to:</p><p><br />- Travel regularly between HSCB and other sites with limited time between meetings.</p><p><br />- Review individually, at least annually, the performance of personnel reporting to them, provide guidance on personal development requirements and advise and Initiate, where appropriate, further training.</p><p><br />- Ensure that the review of performance identified above is carried out for all levels of staff for whom he/she has management authority;</p><p><br />- Maintain staff relationships and morale among the staff reporting to him/her</p><p><br />- Review the organisation plan and the establishment level of the service for which he/she is responsible, to ensure that each is consistent with achieving objectives and recommend change where appropriate;</p><p><br />- Delegate appropriate responsibility and authority to the level of staff within his/her control, consistent with effective decision making, while retain overall responsibility and accountability for results;</p><p><br />- Participate, as required, in the selection and appointment of staff reporting to him/her in accordance with procedures laid down and approved by the DoH.</p><p><br />- Take such action as may be necessary in disciplinary matters in accordance with procedures laid down and approved by the DoH;</p><p><br />- Ensure Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to and staff reporting to him/her are fully conversant with the Regulations</p><p><br />- To deputise for senior staff when required</p><p><strong>Qualifications/ Registration</strong></p><p><br />1a. Applicants must possess a university degree or equivalent professional qualification AND<br />Shortlisting by Application Form</p><p><br /><strong>Experience</strong></p><p><br />At least 12 months experience, within a service improvement, communications or project management role within a health or social care environment</p><p><br /><strong>OR</strong></p><p><br />1b. Have a minimum of 4 years' experience, which should include recent experience within a service improvement, communications or project management role within a health or social care environment</p><p><br />2. Excellent working knowledge and competency in use of information technology within an office environment, including MS Word and MS Excel.</p><p><strong>Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. These criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by The Organisation which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.</strong></p>
