<p>We are currently recruiting for a <strong>Warehouse &amp; Provisioning Operative</strong> to join a well-established and fast-paced organisation based in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in <strong>warehouse operations</strong>, <strong>inventory control</strong>, or <strong>logistics</strong>, who is also comfortable working with <strong>technical equipment</strong> such as routers and provisioning platforms.</p>
<p>This role combines traditional warehouse duties with hands-on technical provisioning, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, precision, and working in a team-focused environment.</p>

<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<h4><strong>Warehouse Operations</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Receive, inspect, and accurately book in deliveries using inventory management systems</li>
<li>Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders using handheld barcode scanners</li>
<li>Conduct regular stock audits and maintain up-to-date inventory records</li>
<li>Ensure the warehouse remains clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety standards</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Provisioning &amp; Technical Setup</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Unbox, configure, and repackage routers using automated provisioning tools</li>
<li>Insert documentation and accessories, apply accurate labelling, and prepare units for dispatch</li>
<li>Maintain accurate stock records and update internal systems</li>
<li>Work closely with the provisioning team to meet customer SLAs and quality standards</li>
</ul>

<h3><strong>Candidate Profile</strong></h3>
<h4><strong>Essential Skills &amp; Experience</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment</li>
<li>Physically fit and capable of lifting boxes up to 20kg</li>
<li>Basic IT proficiency (e.g., spreadsheets, email, inventory software)</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Desirable Skills</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Reach truck or forklift licence</li>
<li>Experience using Sage or similar ERP systems</li>
<li>Familiarity with router configuration or technical provisioning processes</li>
</ul>
