We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse & Provisioning Operative to join a well-established and fast-paced organisation based in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics, who is also comfortable working with technical equipment such as routers and provisioning platforms.

This role combines traditional warehouse duties with hands-on technical provisioning, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, precision, and working in a team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Receive, inspect, and accurately book in deliveries using inventory management systems
• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders using handheld barcode scanners
• Conduct regular stock audits and maintain up-to-date inventory records
• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety standards

Provisioning & Technical Setup

• Unbox, configure, and repackage routers using automated provisioning tools
• Insert documentation and accessories, apply accurate labelling, and prepare units for dispatch
• Maintain accurate stock records and update internal systems
• Work closely with the provisioning team to meet customer SLAs and quality standards

Candidate Profile

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
• Physically fit and capable of lifting boxes up to 20kg
• Basic IT proficiency (e.g., spreadsheets, email, inventory software)
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills

Desirable Skills

• Reach truck or forklift licence
• Experience using Sage or similar ERP systems
• Familiarity with router configuration or technical provisioning processes
