Waste Operative

We're currently recruiting for a Waste Operative in Darlington on a temp to perm basis. Due to the nature of the role, all candidates will be expected to pass a drug and alcohol test on site prior to starting work

The role will require you to be physically fit as you will spend long periods of time on your feet, moving around a large warehouse and yard space. Additional duties will include, operating bailer machinery, breaking down cardboard boxes, using correct recycle techniques and general housekeeping around the site

Experience of driving Counterbalance would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given to the right candidate (inhouse and expired licences also considered)

Shifts will rotate weekly between days, backs and nights

Rates between £12.48 and £14.04 ph depending on the shift
