Job Title: Assistant Manager

Location: Lyndhurst

Salary: £32,000 + Tips (£400-£600/month)

Contract: Full-time, 48 hours/week

Schedule: 5 days out of 7, straight shifts, with one evening off per week

Whether it's locals by the fire or walkers enjoying a Sunday roast, we take pride in creating memorable experiences for every guest.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team and help lead the day-to-day operations of the pub. Working closely with the General Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining high standards of service, supporting the front-of-house team, and ensuring our guests always receive a warm welcome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the GM in overseeing daily operations and team management
  • Lead by example on the floor, delivering outstanding customer service
  • Handle opening and closing procedures confidently
  • Assist with stock control, rotas, and ordering
  • Ensure health & safety and licensing compliance
  • Train and motivate junior staff

What We're Looking For

  • Previous supervisory or assistant management experience in a similar hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach
  • A natural host who enjoys interacting with guests
  • Organised, calm under pressure, and solution-focused
  • Passionate about food, drink, and great service
