Hours: anything from 7.5 to 37 per week Driver don't need to be local but will be called on sometimes at short notice so ideally within 15 miles of Newbury. Rarely any weekend work (maybe called upon but rarely required, we don't work Sundays or bank holidays) D1 is essential for this role - our minibuses are all large coach-built wheelchair accessible vehicles. Full training will be given in the accessibility side including securing wheelchairs. This role does not require a CPC for the D1 as we are a Local Authority and able to operate under the section 19 and section 22 permit scheme. To transport a range of customers, including pupils, Children's and Adult Social Care service users, health service clients, and members of the general public as required in a safe and effective manner.
