This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing a safe and clean environment for our students and staff. As a School Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our school, ensuring that the premises are well-maintained and conducive to learning.

- Conduct regular inspections of the school premises to identify maintenance needs and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, minor repairs, and upkeep of school grounds.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of school events, including assemblies, sports days, and community meetings.
- Monitor and manage the security of the school premises, including locking and unlocking doors, and responding to any security concerns.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and administration to support the needs of the school community.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role, preferably within an educational environment.
- A good understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Basic DIY skills and the ability to carry out minor repairs.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.

We offer a competitive salary, a supportive working environment, and opportunities for professional development. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for supporting education and ensuring a well-maintained school environment, we would love to hear from you.
