If so, we want you to helm our kitchen and shape the culinary identity of Botley's (Outskirts) newest high-end bistro.
About Us
We are launching an elegant, modern bistro that blends contemporary cuisine with exceptional service. Our philosophy centers around locally sourced ingredients, seasonal flavors, and an elevated dining experience that celebrates creativity and craftsmanship. We are recruiting for a July Start and the Grand Opening planned for early August 2025.
The Role/Key Information
* Due to location a Car or Motorbike is essential. (Free Parking available onsite)
* Hours:45 per week - 5/7 days - Straight Shifts.
* Shifts: Opened for Breakfast and Lunch Sunday-Thursday with Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Service on Friday and Saturday's only. Allowing you have a work life balance with some evenings off.
* Salary: Up to £38k per annum (Tips & Bonus details can be discussed)
* Covers: 50/80 with occasional events bookings taking place in our private room.
As our Head Chef, you will be responsible for:
* Designing and executing a refined menu that delights and inspires alongside the Owner.
* Leading and mentoring a talented kitchen brigade with precision and passion.
* Managing stock, suppliers, and ensuring high-quality standards at all times.
* Maintaining impeccable hygiene and food safety practices.
* Collaborating with management to shape the restaurant's culinary vision.
What We're Looking For
* Experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-end, fresh food environment.
* Exceptional culinary creativity, plating finesse, and mastery of modern techniques.
* Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining excellence.
* A deep appreciation for sustainability and seasonal ingredients.
