Job Title: Recycling Centre Operative
Location: Fife
Salary: £13.26 ph
Hours: Mon-Fri 0900-1800

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Recycling Centre Operative to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment to ensure the efficient sorting and processing of recyclable materials.
Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the sorting, processing, and disposal of recyclable materials.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely to manage waste and recyclables.
- Ensure the recycling centre remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Provide guidance to the public on correct recycling procedures.
- Monitor and report any issues with waste contamination or non-recyclable items.
- Work as part of a team to meet recycling targets and efficiency goals.

Requirements:

- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour in a busy environment.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Previous experience in waste management, recycling, or a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Forklift and heavy machinery experience would be advantageous.
- Strong teamwork skills and a proactive attitude.
