Store Operative

Our client located in Hastings is seeking a Stores Operative to join their busy store. This is a long-term booking and a great opportunity for the right candidate.
Details
* Location: Hastings
* Monday - Friday
* 07:30 - 15:30
* £14.83 per hour

Main Duties
* To maintain the highest possible levels of logistical support making sure stock levels are accurate and in line with customer requirements
* To provide over the counter service - issuing and booking out stock items to customers
* Receiving and issuing individual customer orders delivered direct to the FSL
* To complete weekly site check and flag any issues as appropriate
* Sort, receipt and put to stock over the counter replenishment stores and report any discrepancies
* To arrange for appropriate return of any customer orders not collected within 14 days
* To make sure deliveries and collections are completed safely, ie cordoning off as appropriate
* To make sure stock is stored in line with Health and Safety procedures
* The post holder will require a good level of dexterity to enable them to pick and pack and dispatch a large portfolio of items that can vary in size and weight
* Perform warehouse inventory controls via scanner and/or through a computer
