We're looking for a talented Assistant Manager to join our small but mighty team in a charming 50-seat country pub with a bustling beer garden. Serving fresh, classic pub dishes, this privately owned establishment is run by hands-on owners who need a reliable, customer-focused assistant to help oversee operations and ensure guests have a fantastic experience every time they visit.

Perks of the Job:

• Enjoy 2.5 days off per week, sometimes even 3
• Split shifts during the week with a staff room and activities available
• Straight shifts on weekends
• A reasonable 40-hour workweek

Your Role as Assistant Manager:

• Lead shifts and keep service running seamlessly
• Step in for the owners when they're away
• Train and develop the team
• Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere
• Provide outstanding customer service

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in restaurant supervision or management within a quality, food-led hospitality environment
• Strong understanding of food service and guest satisfaction
• Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable experiences
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
