Pay : £12.48ph
Mon - Fri

* Lawn and Garden Care: Regularly mow lawns, trim hedges, and remove weeds to maintain a well[1]groomed appearance of the university's outdoor spaces.
* Sports Facilities: Facilitate external sport spaces in maintaining grounds and equipment to allow for
various uses and users (including specialist playing surfaces).
* Seasonal Tasks: Assist with tasks such as snow removal during winter months, ensuring pathways,
parking areas, and building entrances are clear and safe for use. Perform leaf collection and clearing in
autumn. Winter gritting, (by hand or small hand pushed gritter).
* Outdoor Cleaning: Ensure pathways, outdoor seating areas, and other external spaces are kept clean
and free of litter or debris, contributing to a pleasant campus environment. External window cleaning.
* Planting and Landscaping: Maintain and enhance the university's flower beds, shrubs, and trees,
ensuring a welcoming and vibrant campus atmosphere. Assist with planting projects in collaboration
with the Grounds team. Identify and protect existing plants and trees.
* Best practice: - Care for a planted area, prepare soil and apply an organic mulch, prepare and plant a
hanging basket, use a leaf-litter blower, identify weeds, prepare ground for sowing or planting, water a
bed, border or area of plants in containers
