Stores Assistant - Warehouse

Hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 07:45 - 16:30 (1-hour lunch)
• Friday: 07:45 - 14:45 (1-hour lunch)

A well-established client in the High Wycombe area is seeking a diligent and reliable Stores Assistant to join their warehouse team, focusing specifically on kitting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Locate and book in stock based on pick lists and assemble accurate kits for timely dispatch in line with customer and quality requirements
• Receive, record, and process incoming deliveries from suppliers
• Pick, pack, and dispatch products efficiently and accurately
• Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts
• Keep the warehouse area organised and clean to support a safe and efficient working environment
• Follow all internal processes related to health and safety, quality assurance, and warehouse operations
• Escalate any safety or process concerns to the appropriate team members
• Support with general warehouse duties as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment, especially involving kitting, is desirable
• A methodical and organised approach to work with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage workload effectively and meet time-sensitive deadlines
• Understanding of stock control procedures is an advantage
• A forklift licence is preferred, although training can be provided
