Sales and Operations Assistant

Blue Arrow Derby are proud to be working in partnership with a waste management company based in Ilkeston, who are looking to recruit a Sales and Operations Assistant of a full time, permanent basis.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4pm Friday 7:30am - 2:30pm

Salary: Up to £28,000 DOE

What will you be doing in the Sales and Operations Assistant role:
* Ensure all jobs are loaded into Waste Logics on the agreed planning day.
* Ticket Processing
* Transport signs off loads
* Regular communication with hauliers to book in new loads/cancellations.
* Understand customer/supplier specific requirements eg. POD's, copy original tickets required, agreed ticket allocation for billing & internally communicate terms of trade.
* Adhere to internal procedures regarding on stop accounts and accounts exceeding credit limits.
* Audit of Actual versus planned profitability. Highlight any loss-making loads & low tonnages.
* Query Resolution - escalation of any jobs in query


Previous experience and requirements:
- Experience using waste logics and Sage 200
