We are looking for a passionate and skilled culinary professional to join our talented team of relief chefs and contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and presentation of dishes meet our high standards. - Take responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen, such as pastry, grill, or sauces, and manage all aspects of that area. - Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to our seasonal menu, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate. - Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, sharing your culinary knowledge and techniques to enhance their skills. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards. - Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and contribute innovative ideas for seasonal dishes. - Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stock control for your section. Van Driver with CSCS Blue arrow are recruiting for collections/delivery driver in the Derby area. Ideally you will have van driving experience and good geographical knowledge of the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire area. Please note this role requires a CSCS card as you will be going onto building sites. Hours: 8am-2pm (Mon-Fri) Pay Rate: £16 an hour Location: Burton Typical responsibilities for this role include: * Preparing and serving food according to specifications * Adhering to Health and Safety regulations * Assisting fellow kitchen team members * Maintaining a clean and organized work station * Completing site-specific kitchen paperwork and administrative tasks, such as stock ordering, delivery notes, and temperature logs.
