Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to work different hours, and comfortable working in diverse environments such as care homes, schools, and hotels. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and equipment.
* Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools.
* Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
* Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling.
* Support kitchen staff with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.
* Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Previous experience in a kitchen or similar environment is preferred.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job.
