The project will provide training opportunities for four young people in thatching, and will engage with primary schools and community groups to explore their local vernacular heritage and stories of those who lived under thatch. The ideal candidate would have a strong interest in built heritage and/or history, and be able to evidence this through, for example, previous volunteering experience, work experience or previous study. The project will be fast paced, and will require excellent time-management to meet project milestones, and the ability to multitask. The candidate will be using a number of different platforms and technologies to record and host content and project outputs, therefore strong IT skills are essential, but the role also offers opportunities for creativity and collaboration. Research will play a big role in delivery of project outputs and supporting the different groups involved in the project, therefore strong research skills are desirable. We are recruiting a Senior Project Manager within Belfast. The salary is between £53,755 and £60,504. The purpose of this role is to provide high level programme and project management advice and support to the executive management team for the planning, implementation and evaluation of identified programmes and corporate and strategic projects that will have an effect across health and social care. The post-holder will provide the lead focus for the development and delivery of identified programmes and corporate projects and is required to co-ordinate these activities across teams and staff in the Authority.
