Assembly operative - Winsford

Do you have experience with DIY? E.g. cutting, measuring, and manufacturing? Do you have good communication skills - written and verbal? Have you got basic skills in Microsoft 365? A minimum of 8 years driving experience with a clean licence? We are based in Warrington and provide essential services and products aimed at creating safer environments, particularly in mental health and custodial care. Our warehouse houses products that we supply to domestic and commercial businesses. We work closely with the NHS. Your role as warehouse operative plays a critical part in our operation and your attention to detail will be integral to our business. As a warehouse operative you will be picking items for despatch with a unique aspect of the role being that you may from time to time support our delivery functions and take customer's orders to them directly. As we deliver all over the UK, travel could include overnight stays which you will be reimbursed for . As a warehouse driver you will get the chance to meet our business partners therefore a high degree of customer service is required, The role is varied - no 2 days are the same. Being part of a smaller and more intimate operation - you will feel part of the team instantly. The management team are friendly, nurturing and strive with you to always deliver the best service. DRIVING IS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THE ROLE Pay: £25,397 - £28,000 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm Friday 8am - 3pm **30 mins unpaid break** What your day will consist of; <ul><li>Using a pallet truck to move stock and pallets around the operation</li><li>Picking / packing items</li><li>Use of Profit4System (training is provided)</li><li>Manual handling - lots of lifting, shunting, and pushing</li><li>DIY - Measuring, cutting, using various tools. We are recruiting for a warehouse operative with a FLT counterbalance licence to work for our client based on The Whitehouse Ind Est, Runcorn. This is an ongoing role working Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm (no weekends) paying £12.80 per hour.
