We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee maintenance, repairs, testing, and inspections of building systems, as well as mechanical and electrical services.
This role is part of our dedicated Facilities Management team in Swindon, Wiltshire. The team specialises in delivering comprehensive asset management and maintenance solutions across various sectors, including education, leisure, corporate, health, and residential. Our goal is to ensure facilities operate efficiently and effectively.
This full-time, permanent position follows a rotating weekly shift pattern, working Monday to Friday from 6am to 4pm and 10am to 6pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute planned maintenance tasks as outlined in the PPM schedule, keeping detailed records and completing service reports as needed.
- Perform installation work for minor upgrades and adaptations.
- Collaborate with other skilled trades to conduct maintenance, repairs, testing, inspections, and installation tasks.
- Undertake minor repairs to building fabric when instructed, ensuring the premises remain safe and secure.
- Participate in the on-call rota system as required.
Key Requirements:
- Possess the 18th Edition qualification.
- Hold a valid full driving license.
- Obtain satisfactory Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Demonstrate the ability to independently manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Have a solid understanding of Health & Safety principles.
