Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable caretaker to join our team and maintain the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of a group of 6 schools. Responsibilities include portering, paperwork, using a computer, general maintenance, compliance checks, ensuring facilities are kept in excellent condition and assisting with any ad-hoc tasks required.
This is a full time position over 52 weeks of the year, hours are either earlier (6am - 2pm) or lates (10am - 6pm), then 8am - 4pm during school holidays. 25 days holiday with the option to purchase 5 more through the salary sacrifice scheme.
Ideal Candidate:
* Will drive and have their own vehicle to commute between sites.
* Have an Enhanced Child DBS - we can apply for this for you free of charge if you don't already have one.
* Be practical and proactive with a strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
* Have a basic knowledge of maintenance tasks and equipment.
* Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
* Prior experience is preferred but not essential.
