Operating in a modern, machine-driven environment, you will play a key role in producing high-quality uPVC products used in window and door systems for both bespoke and high-volume projects.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and is committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machinery in line with production schedules</li><li>Ensure all products meet required quality specifications and report defects where necessary</li><li>Perform routine quality checks and accurately complete production documentation</li><li>Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments to maintain optimal efficiency</li><li>Assist with tool changes, machine start-ups, and shutdowns</li><li>Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets</li><li>Ensure correct handling and loading of raw materials</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment</li><li>Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures</li><li>Support basic maintenance tasks and assist with troubleshooting faults</li></ul>About YouEssential Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Flexibility and willingness to work shift patterns</li></ul>Desirable (but not essential)<ul><li>Experience operating extrusion machinery (ideally within uPVC manufacturing)</li><li>Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices</li><li>Mechanical aptitude or experience with machinery troubleshooting</li></ul>What's on Offer<ul><li>Opportunity to work with a well-established, forward-thinking manufacturing business</li><li>Structured shift pattern offering work-life balance flexibility</li><li>Supportive team environment with opportunities to develop technical skills</li></ul>If you're a motivated individual looking to build or grow your career in manufacturing, we'd love to hear from you.
