<p>Our client, A Large public sector organisation, based in Ballykelly is looking for a Staff Officer to join their team.</p><p><strong>Duration:</strong> October 2026 with possible extension</p><p><strong>Rate of pay:</strong> £19.59</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Ballykelly</p><p><strong>Hours:</strong> 37 hours per week</p><p><strong>Start date:</strong> ASAP</p><p><strong>Main Duties:</strong></p><p><strong>Programme Management- reporting</strong></p><p>The postholder will support the Head of Programme Management Branch to monitor, support delivery, and report on programme progress.</p><div><div>Engage with Delivery leads to monitor progress against implementation plans, identifying issues arising, updating issues log and actioning solutions to resolve.</div><div>Leading on management of RAID logsincluding supporting to resolve issues and  escalation as appropriate.</div><div>Work across stakeholder groups to support programme delivery.</div><div>Provide advice and guidance to Departmental leads and senior management as required.</div><div>The postholder will have lead responsibility for reporting on project progress to internal and external stakeholders.</div><div>Postholder will manage the reporting processes with a focus on continual improvement, reducing manual touchpoints to allow for a smooth and streamlined process.</div><div>Responsible for maintaining staff instructions related to processes.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Programme Management- governance</strong></div><div>Ensure robust project and programme governance arrangements are in place throughout the programme lifecycle.</div><div> </div><div><strong>General Duties</strong></div><div>Deal with queries and request for assistance from other branches in a timely manner, providing accurate and relevant information.</div><div>Provide input to ministerial correspondence and briefing as required.</div><div>Comply with health and safety, data protection and information security requirements set out in the current NICS policy and guidelines.</div><div> Support the work of the wider directorate.</div><div>Assist with ad hoc exercises and duties as deemed appropriate.</div></div><p> </p><p><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></p><ul><li>A degree with a minimum of 12 months project support experience</li><li>Excellent IT skills, proficient in the use of Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint.</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Proven ability to use own initiative</li></ul><p><strong>Desired criteria: </strong></p><ul><li>Qualification in project or programme management</li><li>Understanding of the role of a Project/Programme Management Office</li><li>Experience working in government or public sector</li></ul><p>**Please note that successful applicants will be required to complete an AccessNI clearance**</p><p>To apply please send your CV via the link or email</p><p> </p><p>RecCoBelfast</p>
