📚 Job Opportunity: Part-Time Library Assistant - Irvinestown 📚We are currently seeking a temporary, ongoing part-time Library Assistant for our public sector client based in Irvinnestown Library. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a community-focused environment. 🕒 Hours of Work Friday 10-5pm Saturday 10-1pm 💷 Rate of Pay: £13.63 per hour &amp; Saturday rate £20.45 per hour 📝 Duties Include:<ul><li>Handling client queries using print and electronic resources</li><li>Registering clients and explaining library services</li><li>Enforcing library rules and regulations</li><li>Delivering services that support learning, leisure, and cultural needs of the local community</li><li>Conducting rhythm &amp; rhyme &amp; storyboard with primary school children </li></ul>✅ Essential Criteria:<ul><li>5 GCSEs including English Language and Maths (Grade C or equivalent)</li><li>Minimum 1 year's experience in a face-to-face public service role</li><li>Experience working with young children and elderly people</li><li>Proficient in using ICT to access and manage information</li><li>Must hold an Enhanced AccessNI clearance (Child's Barring List)</li><li>Experience working in a team environment </li></ul>📌 Additional Info: The successful candidate may be required to work alone.
