Rate of Pay

• Saturday: £17.64 per hour
• Sunday: £22.90 per hour

About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Domestic Assistant to join our hospital cleaning team in Coleraine. This is a weekend position with an immediate start, ideal for someone experienced in cleaning or willing to work in a busy healthcare environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Intensive cleaning of hospital wards to a high standard
• Cleaning and disinfecting patient areas, corridors, and clinical spaces
• Sanitising high‑touch surfaces such as beds, rails, doors, and equipment
• Emptying clinical and domestic waste in line with infection‑control procedures
• Cleaning toilets, showers, and washroom facilities
• Replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables as required
• Following strict infection prevention and health & safety guidelines
• Using cleaning machinery and chemicals safely and effectively

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Physically able to carry out manual cleaning duties
• Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential (training provided)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to start immediately
