This is a <strong>part-qualified accountant position</strong> responsible for delivering financial management and accounting services. You will work closely with Finance Managers and Senior Accountants to provide high-quality financial support and analysis, ensuring effective budgetary control and contributing to the achievement of organisational objectives.</p><hr /><h4><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h4><ul><li>Prepare monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements</li><li>Provide financial analysis and reporting to support effective decision-making</li><li>Assist with annual budget setting and forecasting processes</li><li>Support customers with financial planning, costings, and variance analysis</li><li>Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and standards</li><li>Liaise with internal and external auditors and attend audit committees as required</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within finance services</li><li>Deliver training and guidance to budget holders and non-financial managers</li></ul><hr /><h4><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></h4><ul><li>Part-qualified accountant (foundation level completed) with one of the six professional bodies (ICAEW, ACCA, CIPFA, ICAS, CIMA, ICAI)</li><li>Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounting/finance role, including at least 1 year in financial management or management accounts</li><li>Experience in budgetary reporting and supporting budget holders</li><li>Strong stakeholder engagement skills</li><li>Advanced IT skills, particularly MS Excel, and experience with financial systems</li><li>Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders</li></ul></div><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>RecCoLisburn</strong></p>
