Locum MRI RadiographerAntrim Job Summary: To undertake MRI Scanning duties within the Northern Trust on all sites. Antrim and Causeway. To participate in 7 day working and extended working day<ul><li>Degree or diploma in Radiography.</li></ul> Essential Criteria:<ul><li>Current HCPC Registration. </li><li>At least 2 years post qualification experience in Diagnostic Radiography</li><li>1 years experience in MRI</li><li>MRI experience working with GE Optima 450W 1.5T and Siemens Sola scanners</li><li>MRI PGCert desirable</li><li>PGCert or equivalent in IV cannulation</li><li>Participate in flexible working sessions including evenings and weekends &amp; BH's throughout the Northern Trust</li><li>Good communicative skills.</li><li>Knowledge of role of Radiographer in MRI Imaging.</li><li>Knowledge of MR Safety</li><li>Access NI check required</li><li>Good general health for the demands of the post</li><li>To be familiar with and abide by:</li></ul><ul><li>Health &amp; Safety at work order 1978</li><li>COSHH Regulations.</li><li>Ionising Radiation Regulations</li><li>All present and future departmental quality standards.</li><li>Departmental local rules and policies/procedures</li><li>MHRA safety guidelines for MR equipment in clinical use.</li></ul><ul><ul><li> The SOR and HPC codes of professional conduct for Radiographers</li><li> To work within the rules and regulations applicable to the department</li><li> To follow all Trust policies and protocols</li></ul></ul> GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESEmployees of the Trust will be required to promote and support the mission and vision of the service for which they are responsible and:-<ul><li>At all times provide a caring service and to treat those with whom they come into contact in a courteous and respectful manner</li></ul><ul><li>At all times demonstrate practice the HSC values of Working Together, Excellence, Openness &amp; Honesty and Compassion</li></ul><ul><li>Carry out their duties and responsibilities in a manner which assures patient and client safety</li></ul><ul><li>Comply with all instructions in regard to Infection Prevention and Control</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrate their commitment by their regular attendance and the efficient completion of all tasks allocated to them</li></ul>To apply send cv via link
