This is a locum position requiring flexibility and commitment to delivering high-quality MRI services across multiple sites.</p><hr /><h4><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h4><ul><li>Perform MRI scans in accordance with departmental protocols and safety standards</li><li>Operate MRI scanners including <strong>GE Optima 450W 1.5T</strong> and <strong>Siemens Sola</strong> systems</li><li>Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process</li><li>Maintain accurate records and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines</li><li>Participate in flexible working sessions, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays</li></ul><hr /><h4><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></h4><ul><li>Degree or Diploma in Radiography</li><li>Current <strong>HCPC Registration</strong></li><li>Minimum <strong>2 years post-qualification experience</strong> in Diagnostic Radiography</li><li>At least <strong>1 year of MRI experience</strong></li><li>Experience working with <strong>GE Optima 450W 1.5T</strong> and <strong>Siemens Sola scanners</strong></li><li>Knowledge of MRI safety and the role of Radiographer in MRI imaging</li><li>Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team</li><li>Access NI check required</li><li>Good general health to meet the physical demands of the role</li></ul><hr /><h4><strong>Desirable</strong></h4><ul><li><strong>MRI PGCert</strong></li><li>PGCert or equivalent in <strong>IV cannulation</strong></li></ul><hr /><h4><strong>Compliance &amp; Standards</strong></h4><p>Candidates must be familiar with and adhere to:</p><ul><li>Health &amp; Safety at Work Order 1978</li><li>COSHH Regulations</li><li>Ionising Radiation Regulations</li><li>MHRA safety guidelines for MR equipment</li><li>Departmental quality standards, local rules, and policies</li><li>SOR and HCPC codes of professional conduct</li></ul></div><p> </p><p><strong>RecCoLisburn</strong></p>
